There is no doubt that purposeful and impactful leadership is not by demagoguery or paid public relations coinage. Rather, it is authenticated by concrete visible proofs.
It is in this class that Hon. David Agada Ogewu, the member representing the good people of Oju/Obi Federal Constituency of Benue State in the House of Representatives, 10th National Assembly, is viewed.
He is a grassroots leader who keeps faith with his constituents with remarkable impacts that his constituents can’t stop talking about.
Ogewu is a well read intellectual, a lawmaker with notable scholarship. He holds three degrees; B.Sc. in Political Science, two master degrees in Public Administration and M.Sc. in Criminology and Security Studies.
:
He is currently the Deputy Chairman of the House Committee on Army in the Green Chamber.
Ogewu first won his election into the House on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2019, an electoral victory that was unfortunately dogged by legal tussles. However, in 2023, he won with conviction on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Honourable Member has been making unprecedented impacts in his constituency, which include free medical services, empowerment via skill acquisition, agriculture, scholarships, women and youth development programmes.
Others are water, electricity, education, road, health care and several projects, some of which are captured in pictures below.
